Hey, look, it was some college kids, doing normal college kid things! Like sneaking into clubs with fake IDs Arden's brother had somehow procured for them! Erasmus wasn't asking questions. He felt like his momma was going to sense his malfeasance from Mississippi and ground him at any moment.

Well, now they were here, and, uh... "What do we...do in a club, anyway?" Dance? They should probably dance.

"They put sugar in cornbread but not in tea," Erasmus said. "It's not the South." Both of these things were, his tone of voice suggested even over the volume of music in the club, crimes. "But it's fine, I guess, even if it is so cold here." Delicate little baby.

Riri snorted and rolled her eyes. "So, water and a ginger ale?" she asked, getting up to hit the bar for them.

She was forever the 'he said no pickles' friend. At least since... well, Natalie.

Sorry, she hadn't realized that about the cornbread and had been staring at Erasmus in horror.
